Just Outside My Window

This baby bird fell from its nest, or maybe its flying lessons did not go so well. Its parents were still in the tree, basically hysterical, while this little critter was pretending it was just another petunia in the flower box. Yawned, blinked its eyes a few times, and nestled down between the window and the box. Even though I could seemed have like King Kong to it, it was just a ham for the camera . . . like all petunias are.
