When I talk to people about traveling to Las Vegas, I’m finding that there are two types of people: those that don’t want anything to do with it, and those that love it and go back year after year. I, myself, am turning into the latter, although as of last week, I’ve only been to Las Vegas twice. The first time I went in January of 2014 was for a friend’s wedding, and there wasn’t much else outside of those celebrations on the itinerary. The pools were closed (which was a sad sight to see as a Midwesterner trying to escape the cold of winter) and before I knew it, I was on a plane back home.
This time around, I turned my cell phone off (for the most part; I am still a millennial), paid no attention to clocks (not like they’re easy to find in Vegas anyway!), and enjoyed four days of fun in the desert sun! It was so relaxing, and really nice for my fiancé and I to spend some time together. See some of my vacation pictures below, and check out more on my Facebook page. P.S. Big thanks to the rest of the Magic Crew who picked up my slack while I caught a tan, and a hopeful jackpot! (For the record, I didn’t win any money, but I didn’t lose any either.) When I got back in to work on Monday morning, each and every one of the Crew members I saw said to me, “it’s good to have you back.” No, friends… it’s good to be back! I love vacationing, but my favorite part has always been coming home.
