Color Coded Health

Written by on October 1, 2014

It’s so true that the older we get the more we really need to pay attention to what we eat and how many nutrients we’re putting into our bodies on a daily basis.  I’m a woman who needs to add A LOT of extra calcium, vitamin D, potassium and magnesium to my diet.  It wasn’t always easy to keep track of all the foods I needed to buy and eat to give me my daily allotment of each vitamin and mineral.  Then Copps and Pick N Save came up with a brilliant way for everyone to buy just the right foods for their individual diets and health needs.
It’s with their “health key”.  They have color coded everything that has passed their strict quality standards.  Food rich in calcium has a yellow tag.  Potassium rich foods are coded hot pink.  And foods that are considered good sources of fiber are coded a deep purple.  You can find out more about Copps and Pick N Save’s health key right here.  A grocery store that really cares about the foods I eat to stay healthy.  Wow.  You’ll find that at Copps and Pick N Save.  Always going the extra mile.
