As a writer, I suppose it's not unusual that I read a lot. I digest at the very least 4 books a month, 8 or more when I am not writing my own. I am through the first draft of my latest book which I started last summer, and now I am on Chapter 10 of the edit process. I just finished reading An Irish Country Doctor by Patrick Taylor. I like to think of it being like a box of chocolates because I had to force myself to only read two chapters a day so it would last longer! If you enjoyed any of James Harriot's All Creatures Great and Small group, you will love this one. The animals are funny, but this story is about two people Doctors. It's clever, hilarious and has all the ingredients to make you never want to put it down and be sorry it's over. I have already ordered up a few others he's written and I'll be sure to let you know if they are as good.
