Most People Travel To Someplace Balmy on Spring Vacation
My husband and I, on the other hand, headed to Sheboygan for a quick, overnight getaway last week.  I've lived in Wisconsin 26 years now, and Sheboygan was the last city of any size that I had never visited.  I guess you could say Sheboygan was on the Wisconsin edition of my "bucket list," and we thoroughly enjoyed our short time there.

The shoreline of Lake Michigan is beautiful.  It was a little too cold for a long walk along the lake, so instead we visited several independent book and resale shops downtown.  It also doesn't hurt that there's an excellent, newer craft brewery there called 3 Sheeps Brewery.  If you love microbrews and haven't tried their beer yet, I highly suggest you pick some up soon.  The one thing we didn't do in Sheboygan (that the city is most famous for) is eat any brats!!  I guess that gives us an excuse to visit again ;-)

Milestone Birthday Ahead
I turn the Big 50 in April.  I'm not exactly dreading it, but I'm not exactly looking forward to it either.  I try to keep reminding myself that lots of people have been deprived of the privilege of getting older.  If you have a ways to go before you turn 50, this article contains a wise list of what you should be doing NOW to increase your chances of a long, happy, healthy life past 50 :-)
