Kathryn Vaughn

I grew up in: West New York, NJ & Bergenfield, NJ
I went into radio because: I wanted to write for a living and I thought it would be so cool to have fun doing it!
My first radio job was: WSUP at UW-Platteville
Favorite vacation spot: All over Door County.
If I could change one thing about myself, I'd: Have a faster metabolism.
Scariest time: Flying over oceans!
Secretly I'd like to: Fly an F-16.
Grocery shopping is: So much fun I do it every day!
If I could meet any author or artist, it would be: Philip Dick. Besides enjoying his genius science fiction stories, when I read "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" it changed my life. I had to make that very tough decision to leave my marriage. The story helped me to understand that life was not black and white, buy varying shades of gray and it was OK to take the lightest one I could. I never regret my choice...it was hard but the right one!
My #1 hobby is: Interior decorating.
If I had to leave the house in a flash, I'd take: My well-worn dark green terry bathrobe!
Favorite/least favorite thing about Madison: All the lakes & the parking.
I knew I was an adult when: I had to pay the rent.
Weirdest CD in my collection: I only keep the good ones!
