Year of Magic debut:  1999

I grew up in:  Reedsburg, WI.

First radio station I worked at:   WRDB in Reedsburg - AM 1400!

Secretly, I'd like to:  Buy some land and rescue dogs.  I love dogs - grew up with them, many different kinds - and just think they're cool animals.  I want to help them as much as possible.

I wish I knew why:  I was afraid of heights.  It's better these days but I wish I could pinpoint when it became a real problem.  Somehow, Steve lured me to the top of Yosemite Falls (Yosemite National Park) - the tallest waterfall in North America, I believe!  It was amazing to have done it - it's super high - but I think the only way he got me up there was to basically lie to me about how high it was and how steep the trail was as well.  You start the trail in the forest and it's this meandering path...I was thinking, this isn't bad at all!  Then, you come out of the trees and realize you are already very high!  I walked in front of him and he kept talking to me about puppies (this was pre-Burt)...as if we had one, what it looked like, how fun it was to play with it...that was the only thing that kept me going.  Physically, it was hard, too...but a neat accomplishment.  You should see the picture of us at the top near the stream - I look like I'm about to pass out.

I still can't believe:  My niece Amanda is in college and my nephew Corey is about to drive!  I remember when they were both born.  Good Lord.

Pets?  Yellow lab named Burt.  He was a pain in the katookey as a puppy (he's now 3) but super cute and an amazing dog now.  He's my little cuddle bug!!

Current favorite TV show:  I'm obsessed with "Brothers & Sisters" - wish it was on every night!  It's so much like my own family and since my niece loves it, too, we text back and forth during the show.

I'd give anything to meet:  Celine Dion.  I've seen her in concert twice (the second time sat close to the front and then she came in just feet from us - my sister Chris went with me - and I was freaking out) and am pretty sure if I met her I'd either pass out or start bawling.  Love her or hate her, you've got to admit she's extremely talented.
