I grew up in: Reedsburg, WI.
First radio station I worked at: WRDB in Reedsburg - AM 1400.
I have no idea why: People drive under the speed limit. Don't you have somewhere to be?! Then again, my husband is a verrrrry safe and sometimes slow driver, so I really need to work on being more patient about it.
I wish I could: Travel back in time to the day my Mom started smoking (she was about 16). I'd make it so she'd never start, so she'd still be alive now. She was super healthy other than her decades-long habit. I'm gonna get preachy but don't smoke! It's awful for everyone.
My dog Burt: Is seriously the best thing ever! I'm so in love with him I know some people think it's weird. My phone probably has more pics of Burt than my new niece Addison! That's probably not good, huh...
Someday I'm gonna: Run or bike in a race. I played high school sports but haven't done much in years because of some old back pain that just won't go away. I'd love to play some volleyball again, too...nothing like nailing a spike.
Skills I wish I had: I'd love to learn about construction. Put me in a home improvement store and I'm set...so many project ideas! Just wish I could do all them myself.
If I could change one thing about myself: I'd relax more. I'm getting better at it but I'm not the "sit on the couch and veg for hours" type. Gotta organize something, get at this project, etc. Drives Steve nuts! Guess I'd rather be motivated than not.
My family: Rocks. We've stuck together pretty well since my Mom passed away, and I'm proud of that. We share a lot - probably overshare, sometimes - but I'd rather have it that way any day. I know my family members are my biggest fans...and that's pretty cool.
