Birthplace: Madison. Raised in Stoughton until 3rd grade when we moved to Three Lakes (Northern Wisconsin). Go Bluejays!
First radio job: WERL/WRJO in Eagle River, WI. I was 16 and hired to do weekend News/Sports/Weather. I moved on to WHDG "Hodag Country" in Rhinelander a year later to be a "DJ." It was more fun!
Favorite vacation spot: I don't take many, but would have to say that South Carolina and Florida were nice.
Scariest time: That second you realize your child is not by your side as you thought they were.
Song that has moved you: "3AM" by Matchbox Twenty, "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls, "Angel" by Sarah McLachlan, "The Dance" by Garth Brooks and "Everything You Want" by Vertical Horizon. I could list so many more!
Remember what you bought with your first big paycheck or bonus? Yep! I was 17 and bought my own DJ equipment. I didn't have to borrow gear from the school district anymore to dj Junior and Senior High dances.
My family: I'm the man of the house (I keep telling myself that). Beautiful wife Mary and 2 young daughters Mallory and Abigail. Look closely and you'll see my gray hairs. I think I'll keep 'em -- the gray hair and the girls!
