One of my favorite things to do is take a Sunday drive to someplace I’ve never been. I just pick a direction and go. When I start getting close to country back roads, I veer off and take them to see where they lead me. I have a pretty good sense of direction so I really never worry about getting lost. A full tank of gas and a Wisconsin map are all I need. If I see a cute antique store or roadside restaurant I’ll stop. If I see a wildlife viewing area sign I definitely will stop. I keep a pair of binoculars in the car. Slowly over the years my relaxing Sunday drives have dwindled. I began to think I was too tired or too busy to do something I really enjoy. Time to get back on the road and see what other Wisconsin treasures I can find. I plan on throwing a dart at a map this Sunday and buckling up. Sunday drives are back in style!
