Fab New Place to Eat

My son Gregg and I met for brunch On Saturday at Holstein Kitchen, 101 South Main Street in downtown Oregon.  It’s the perfect meeting place between our homes.  What a great surprise to find out it’s the best place for breakfast or brunch – period!  They serve what they call classic farm table comfort foods.  I call it the reincarnation of the Cambridge Clay Market Café that used to be my fave breakfast place.
Matching the holstein cow look, the black and white décor is soooo tasteful!  Uncluttered, immaculate, fast service.  Both staffers, Holly and April, were friendly and efficient without intruding on our conversation.  That is a great waitress!  The Louisiana style French toast was my son’s favorite (he has a sweet tooth) and I loved my eggs – not over cooked and piping hot.  I highly recommend this place and plan on bringing my friends asap!   To make a reservation, call 608-291-0884.  They are closed on Mondays.
