What an amazing couple of holiday weeks! A couple of things that we did that I highly suggest if you’re looking for something to do — we went ice skating… Grandma, Grandpa, uncle Bradley, aunt Julie, Nate, Evelyn, uncle Andrew, Ella, Maya, Marc, me, Everett, Roman, and Imogene. We went down to the new Monona ice skating rink and it was amazing. I have so many pictures and so many memories that will live forever. From sitting outside on the Adirondack chairs around the bonfire to the actual skate rink, to the warming house with hot chocolate floats… hot chocolate with a scoop of Zanzibar Chocolate Shoppe ice cream (it’s to die for), stuff for s’mores out at the bonfire, a wall of board games to sit and play with your family… we had a blast. They did it right when they built it, I highly recommend it. My mom, sister, sister-in-law, and I also did a class at Board and Brush class at their Sun Prairie location. It was a blast! You get to choose from hundreds of projects and the people who work there are so helpful without doing any of the project for you. It’s a gorgeous space, easy to get to and the best part… there’s a bar in there. While you sip on your Chardonnay… you’re creating this gorgeous something with your favorite people. This is definitely a place to visit. The bonus being it’s something for your home as well… my sister did a coat rack that would cost hundreds of dollars if she ordered it… and she gets to stare at it and know she did it. I did a gorgeous framed piece of wood with my wedding anniversary on it… we’re redoing our bedroom and it’s perfect! Go ahead and enjoy yourself this weekend… here’s so much to do! Have fun!
