By now, you’ve pulled out all the secrets you have on how to keep yourself and your family entertained as we continue to weather COVID-19 safety measures.
Since the weather has really cooperated with us in the last week, I’ve taken advantage by being a tourist in my own backyard. I have gone to a handful of places in SE Wisconsin that I’ve never been before… including House on the Rock in Spring Green and Eugster’s Farm in Stoughton. I rode an E-bike for the first time with the B-Cycle rentals in Madison and found city/county parks to explore like Owen Conservation Park and Pheasant Branch Conservancy.
For me, doing something different has really helped combat the monotony of the last couple of months. I’ve found that people are mostly respecting distancing in parks and indoor attractions and, since the mask mandate went into effect, are wearing masks at indoor places I visit.
What have you been doing lately to explore and see something new? Email me at Jillene@magic98.com. I’d love suggestions on places I can check out! See some pictures from my recent adventures and keep up with what I do next on Facebook…
