Lanette's Lazy Beef & Noodles

When the weather turns chilly, there’s nothing better than a big pot of warm, savory beef and noodles simmering on the stove. Tender chunks of beef, rich gravy, and hearty egg noodles come together in the ultimate comfort meal. It’s like a cozy sweater in a bowl!

Ingredients:
2 to 3 pound chuck roast
4 cups of beef broth
Brown gravy mix packet
Ranch packet
1/4 cup of butter
24oz frozen Reames egg noodles

Instructions:
Cook everything in your crock pot on low for 8 to 10 hours. Shred the beef. Turn crockpot on high and add noodles. Cook for 30 mins…longer if noodles aren’t quite done yet.

Lanette’s Lazy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bars

Jim Bartlett's wife Ann found this recipe, and it's super-extra-double lazy.

one 15 ounce can of pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling)
one 17.5 ounce bag of chocolate chip cookie mix

mix together (no other liquid required), pour into a 9-by-13 pan, and bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes

bars will be very soft; if you'd like them firmer, bake them a little longer
