If you’ve ever been out at San Damiano on Lake Monona around sunset, you know how beautiful that place can be. And there’s a really nice evening coming up to help keep it that way.

It’s the 4th annual Celebration on the Shore: The Golden Hour Gala — an evening right along the lake with good food, live music, stories about San Damiano, and a benefit auction.

And honestly, it sounds like a pretty great excuse to get dressed up, enjoy a beautiful sunset and spend a night celebrating one of those special places in our community.

San Damiano has been a place for people to slow down, take a walk, watch the sunset, bring the family, or just enjoy being outside together for generations. This evening helps make sure those simple little moments are still here for the next generation.

Celebration on the Shore is coming up along Lake Monona — tickets are on sale now if you’d like to make a night of it.
