Trumpet, trumpet, and more trumpet – this concert features works by Haydn and Vivaldi and will spotlight Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto in E Flat featuring internationally-recognized trumpeter, Andrew Balio. WCO’s own principal trumpet, Matthew Onstad, will join Balio for Vivaldi’s Concerto for Two Trumpets. Mixing in Mozart’s demanding Prague Symphony, this concert offers classical contrast with an enthralling contemporary work by Joan Tower, with guest conductor Emanuele Andrizzi.
