Honestly, it just doesn’t get any better than this. It looks like her first name will be Evelyn, after my 95-year-old grandma, but there’s no word on her middle name yet. I can tell you that she’s a healthy, happy, little (well, at 9 pounds, 6 ounces so not so little) sweet girl. She has an older brother, Nate who is thrilled to have her (for now, anyway).
My brother Bradley and my sister-in-law, Julie are doing great! After they head home from the hospital, the wait is on until December when I get to kiss that little girl all over. They live in Boston, which is awesome when we’re looking to go on vacation, but not when we want to jump out of our crazy life’s schedule for a second just to get a good whiff of a new baby and then run back.
They’ll be here for Christmas, which is the best gift ever!! I’ve got to go buy cute things now…lots of them.
