I have seen more rainbows this summer than I have throughout my entire life. Maybe it’s because the Universe knows I’m looking for the light. And for once, I’m actually listening to cues on how to find it, instead of thinking I have all the answers. Even though I dislike the word, I’m on a “journey” to finding more light and love in life. And in today’s world, with a global health crisis, a racism pandemic, added isolation, fear, and anxiety, more stress than ever, and less human connection… it’s not easy to see the light. The good news is, it’s still there. Through all of the tough stuff, there is light. Sometimes, it’s about perspective and seeing things in a different, well… for lack of a better word — light. So, when I see a rainbow, I don’t take it for granted. For me, it’s a nod from the Universe that I’m exactly where I need to be. I may not be able to change the whole world but if I can get my own world in order, my thoughts, actions, and reactions, I see more of the light… more of the hope… and more of the joy.
Here are a couple pictures of the rainbows I’ve seen this summer… If you have any to share, I’d love to see them. Email me at Jillene@Magic98.com or find me on Facebook here.
