It is true that I’d willingly make a road trip for a great cup of coffee. If there is tasty food involved, all the better. I’m counting my lucky stars the cutest little coffee shop is one, walk-able, block up the road from me! The Wildwood Café (218 Forrest St. in Stoughton) is small but the AC works great and the staff are fun and very clever cooks. Having my perfect Americano served up along side my breakfast, custom made for me, is serious fun! Kelsie nestles a perfectly poached egg on top of freshly sliced avocado which is then set upon a slice of toasted, crusty bread. I’ve never heard the same kind of music in there twice, but it’s always good. Having wi-fi and lots of natural light, plants, and real flowers on the tables puts practical together with cozy charm. There are baked goods too. My friend, Sharon, always goes for the gluten-free pumpkin coffee cake. The hours are a bit limited… Wednesday through Sunday, opening at 8AM until 2PM. They close at 1PM on Sunday. If you need to cool off, the iced coffee is also great to get to go as well. Thumbs up all the way around.
