Every night on Channel 3 News, you hear Charlotte say, “do something good.” Those three little words have lead to three more for one Magic 98 family member… “pay it forward.”
A couple weeks ago, Julie Sincox from Ridgeway won $239 playing Magic Money. She came in to pickup her money last week and I had the pleasure of meeting her! She told me that she was going to donate part of her winnings… and she meant it. Yesterday, I received an email from Julie saying that her donationS had been made. Get this — Julie donated to her local Iowa County Humane Society (who’s in need of a new roof), and she bought a gift card for a friend who could use it for daily commutes to and from radiation treatment.

Meeting Julie made me feel like I had met an angel in disguise. Her kindness really radiated with me (not to mention she gives great hugs). She told me that she had lived without the $239 she won playing Magic Money up until a few weeks ago… so why not pay it forward? “I always say that I try to give when I can because someday I may be in the receiving line!” (Julie)
