Laurie L. Assadi, MA, Ed.S

For 40 years, Laurie Assadi has used her formal education, parenting experience, and nurturing instincts to touch the lives of children and young adults struggling with various attention, behavioral, and emotional problems. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Hillsdale College with a degree in Psychology, she earned a Master’s Degree in both Clinical and School Psychology and an Educational Specialist Degree in School Psychology. Laurie feels it’s imperative to work with parents, teachers, physicians, and spouses to provide a multidimensional approach to best address the complexity of health. Laurie has provided over 600 workshops to increase understanding of how children and young adults think, feel, and learn. In addition, she has authored and published “Waking from the Nightmare: Giving our Children Optimism” which is a personal, practical guide to understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of Mood, Anxiety, and Attention Disorders in children and teens.
